StudyKoro শুধু অ্যাপ চালানোর জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্য নেয় — আপনার লগইন তথ্য (Google অ্যাকাউন্টের নাম ও ইমেল), পড়াশোনা ও পরীক্ষার অগ্রগতি, এবং কোর্স কেনার রেকর্ড। পেমেন্ট অ্যাপে Google Play এবং ওয়েবসাইটে Razorpay-এর মাধ্যমে হয়; আমরা আপনার কার্ড, UPI বা ব্যাংকের তথ্য কখনো দেখি না। AskHub-এ আপনি যে প্রশ্ন, উত্তর ও ছবি পোস্ট করেন, তা একই কোর্সের অ্যাক্সেস থাকা শিক্ষার্থী ও StudyKoro টিম দেখতে পায় (আপনার নামের প্রথম অংশ ও শেষ নামের প্রথম অক্ষরসহ); নিজের পোস্ট যেকোনো সময় মুছতে পারবেন। আমরা কোনো তথ্য বিক্রি করি না এবং কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন দেখাই না। অ্যাপের সেটিংস → অ্যাকাউন্ট স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে ফেলুন থেকে যেকোনো সময় আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট ও তথ্য মুছে ফেলতে পারেন।
1. Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo. Guest sign-in creates an anonymous account with no personal details. Each account has a random user ID.
- Learning activity: the courses you choose, your answers, practice and mock-test results, Daily Quiz sessions and streaks, bookmarks, wrong-answer lists, progress statistics and question reports you send.
- Purchases: in the app, when you buy a course through Google Play we receive the order ID, purchase token, product and purchase status. On the website (studykoro.com), payments are processed by Razorpay; we receive the Razorpay order and payment IDs, the amount, the course and the payment status. We use these only to unlock the course and handle refunds. Google Play and Razorpay process the payment itself; we never receive your card, UPI or bank details.
- AskHub posts: questions and answers you post in AskHub — the text you write and any photo you attach — together with the time of posting, the course, and your name in shortened form (e.g. "Rahul S.") and Google profile photo, shown next to your post. Photos are resized on your device before they are uploaded.
- Leaderboard: for each course, your total correct answers, accuracy and number of tests are combined into a ranking. Other students of the course see your shortened name (e.g. "Rahul S."), profile photo, points and accuracy there.
- Referrals: your referral code, who referred you (if anyone), and a shortened form of your name (e.g. "Rahul S.") shown to the person who referred you. When you install from a referral link, Google Play's install-referrer information is used to apply the code.
- Device and diagnostics: Firebase Analytics records app usage events (such as screens opened or a quiz started) with device model, OS version and an app-instance ID; Firebase Crashlytics records crash reports; Firebase App Check / Google Play Integrity checks that requests come from the genuine app.
- Files on your device: study-material PDFs you open are saved inside the app's private storage so they open offline. They are deleted when you sign out, when your access ends, or when you delete your account.
2. How we use it
- To provide the app: sign-in, showing courses, saving your progress, Daily Quiz, mock tests and study materials.
- To unlock paid courses, verify purchases with Google Play or Razorpay, handle refunds and run the referral programme.
- To run AskHub, where students of a course ask questions and answer each other, and to show the course leaderboard.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To fix crashes and improve the app using aggregated usage statistics.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not show advertisements, and we do not use your data for advertising.
3. Sharing
Your data is stored and processed by Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check), Google Play (billing and installs) and Razorpay (website payments), acting as our service providers. We may disclose information if required by law. Otherwise we do not share your personal data with anyone.
Visible to other students: your AskHub posts (text, photos, shortened name and profile photo) can be seen by every student who has active access to the same course, and by the StudyKoro team. Your shortened name, profile photo, points and accuracy appear on that course's leaderboard. Your email address is never shown to other students. Please don't post personal details (phone numbers, addresses, documents) in AskHub.
4. Retention and deletion
- We keep your data while your account exists.
- AskHub: you can delete any of your own questions or answers at any time (the delete icon on the post). Deleting a question also deletes the answers posted under it and its photos. The StudyKoro team may remove posts that are abusive, spam, off-topic or that share personal information.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Settings → অ্যাকাউন্ট স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে ফেলুন. This permanently deletes your profile, learning history, progress, bookmarks, streaks, enrollments, referral profile, leaderboard entry and all your AskHub questions, answers and photos, and your sign-in account. - Kept after deletion: payment records (order ID, product, amount, date and status) are retained for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. If someone referred you, their referral record is kept for their reward count, with your name replaced by "Deleted user".
- Crash reports and analytics events are kept by Firebase for its standard retention periods.
5. Security
All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to your data is restricted by server-side security rules, so each account can read only its own learning data; paid study materials are served through short-lived private links. AskHub posts can be read only by students with active access to that course and by the StudyKoro team, and every AskHub request is checked on our server.
6. Children
StudyKoro is a preparation app for competitive and government-job examinations and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your choices and rights
You can view your learning data in the app, change your language and sign out at any time, and delete your account as described above. For any other request about your personal data, email studykoro26@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
